Welcome to Day Twelve
A little devotional tip–Sing some praise music as part of your devotional. This will help you focus and connect more with our beloved Lord!
Day Twelve
Deuteronomy 7:6-9
Devotional Thoughts
He is faithful. He loves you. You are His special treasure. He chose you not because you are great but because you are one of “the least.” He chooses broken jars of clay. He will bring you out of oppression through His mighty hand. He will redeem.
So He did with the Israelites when facing Pharoah’s tyranny–so He will do with you and me.
Because personally I feel the oppression all around–on the outside by evil forces in this world, our declining culture, the aggressive tyranny going on in my state…
Then closer to home as a family member faces a terrible disease, and the periodic miscommunication that goes on in the family.
And on the inside of me… the fatigue and exhaustion which prevents me from being as productive as I want to, the tormenting thoughts of “I’m not good enough” that sometimes plays in my head…
But through it all, God is faithful. He knows what I’m going through. He knows what you’re going through. He has set His love on you and me.
Powerful words to get us through these trials!
Application
Surrender your troubles to Him.
Prayer
Lord, we were chosen by You because we were the least among peoples. You have redeemed us. You are the faithful God who keeps Your covenant and loving-kindness to those who love You. We thank you and love you! Amen.
Call to Action
One of the reasons I’m starting this devotional is to ask for others to intentionally pray for our business, AngelArts.
Praising God that He is working in so many dire circumstances. He has a plan and it is sweet-smelling and beautiful. I can’t always see it, but He is there. Pray that I will get the help I need to be healthy so I can be there for my family and my team, helping them to get healthy, so we can be about our Father’s business!
