Welcome to Day Sixteen
A little devotional tip–Combine your devotional with planning your schedule and to-do list.
Day Sixteen
Deuteronomy 8:18 (11-20)
Devotional Thoughts
Where does the power to make wealth come from?
God, pure and simple.
It’s one of the many reasons to remember the Lord God.
He brought you through many dry, desert-like, and terrifying times.
It’s so easy to forget God when things are easy and your bank account is full.
But it’s God who got you where you are (and if you’re not where you want to be, God will help you get there).
So the question is, whose power are you relying on?
Your own? Your 401(k)? A “guru?” Your boss? The government…
If any of these become an idol, they will fail you because only God can give you the power to make wealth.
He will, as I know from experience, take away from you so you HAVE to cling to Him and surrender all to Him. He does that because He is a loving Father.
So who and what are you trusting in?
Application
Pray for God’s power to transform your mess into a message, your tests into a testimony.
Prayer
Dear Lord, we need to remember you for it is you who gives power to make wealth. Amen.
Call to Action
One of the reasons I’m starting this devotional is to ask for others to intentionally pray for our business, AngelArts.
Tomorrow I see my doctor and will get a blood test. Pray that I get some answers so I can have my energy back again to do all that God is calling me to do and be.
