Welcome to Day Five!
A little devotional tip–finding a cozy place in your home to have regular devotionals is key into making it a lifelong habit.
Day Five
Proverbs 29:18
Devotional Thoughts
Your life needs to be grounded in prophetic revelation. Every pursuit and passion. Every part of your life. The Word is your foundation. That’s why you need it daily. Without it you would starve spiritually. You would have no direction and would spin out of control.
And keeping the Greatest Commandment which is the whole law will bring happiness. It’s boiled down to two actions–loving God and loving others as yourself.
Vision is life giving. A lack of it creates chaos.
The Bible is not irrelevant. It is crucial.
Without vision from the Bible you would flounder and be foolish.
For me, it is like my younger years when I was a “rebel without a cause.” I was “unrestrained,” lacking insight from the Word and completely miserable.
But when I finally came back to the “fold” at age 20 and the Bible became the backbone of my life, I experienced joy and direction and vision.
Has it been easy? No! But without the Word I would have literally perished long ago.
Application
Keep on keeping His Word and help others do the same.
Prayer
We are all God’s possession. I am His own special treasure. Help me to obey your voice and to keep this covenant between us!
Call to Action
One of the reasons I’m starting this devotional is to ask for others to intentionally pray for our business, AngelArts.
I see God as my CEO. He is the boss and He owns AngelArts. I am only His maidservant. Years ago I had this idea for a 50 Day Prayer time for the business that He would lead me to create. So here I am, asking you to pray with me.
Dear Lord, guide Dana and her team as they seek to finish your work and follow your path. Help them to obey your voice. Amen.
