So many people don’t understand why evil things happen to good people… the answer is simple.
We humans who are created in God’s image have fallen from grace and perfection. We let sin into the world and now this earth is a testing ground of our faith in the Lord Jesus.
Hello. My name is Nathen Creed; I am 25 years old and have had more life experience than most people two times my age. I have traveled the world and seen many amazing things. I grew up in a loving Christian home with two parents and two siblings—one older and one younger.
But my life was not as cheerful as you might think. I belonged to a well-off family and had all the comforts anyone could ever ask for… but something was wrong. Since I was a small boy I have always been picked on throughout my childhood and teen years. As a child I was heavy weight-wise and loved to play sports. However the fat kid with the basketball always gets the heat of bullying on any team. I never liked violence and I never wanted to hurt other people, unless they hurt me first. For so long I put up with being bullied until one day I had enough.
I was standing in line for layup during basketball practice and the popular kid of the team kept smacking the back of my head and calling me “fat a—.” His mistake was that every time he hit me it was in a pattern. So I waited and counted one, two, THREE! And on three I reached back and grabbed the kid’s arm and threw him with all my might over my shoulder, making sure he hit the solid ground with as much force as possible. The kid’s arm was sprained and I walked out of the basketball court.
I went across the street and sat by some dumpsters alone, letting the reality of what I did sink in…
I was being abused and I took action, now the kid lay on the floor barely able to move… I liked that! A lot!
I finally came back to the building and told the coach that I was quitting.
“He won’t bother you again, I’m sure” the coach said to me.
But it wasn’t about that anymore, I no longer felt that I ever needed to be involved in something that demanded me to get along with others again. I now had a deep respect for myself because I stood up for myself when even the coach did nothing to help me.
But that inner fire grew too large and I soon became a person with vast amounts of rage and anger.
I soon learned that you can’t use violence in every event when you feel threatened… so I came up with a thought that interested me.
Most people let bullies get away with crap because they say, “Well you never know what is going on in their home” or some crap like that BS is what I say
Everyone has responsibility for their actions!
But at the same time it made me think.
Bullies are only ever afraid of one power, DAD…
If I could learn what the dad feared and learned not to fear what adults feared then I would never be afraid of others ever again.
And the main thing people fear is the unknown darker things of the world’s secrets. So I began to learn the theatrical element of false magic that people thought was real—spell incantations and symbols… but then it got deeper and deeper and soon it became the real deal!
During my teen years I was deep into the occult practices and witch craft of blood magic. Although I did not like it… I was doing and saying things I never thought I ever would, but my hatred for bullies of any kind lead me to do evil things.
But in my heart I never truly wanted the Holy Spirit to leave. I was conflicted and I loved God and I knew He was real… I acted like I hated Him, but in the end I always loved Him in my heart. I was lost and misguided. My actions and rage lead for me to lose many dear friendships that I miss to this day.
Then one day my mentor Michael came to my family’s house and introduced himself to me. Michael had been a satanic priest before becoming a man of God and joining my family’s church.
He taught me how to let go of the darkness and how to rid my world of evil.
We gathered 90 percent of my belongings and burnt them all in a metal trashcan with fire… I renounced my evil ways and told the Lord that I belonged only to Him the Lord Jesus.
I have gone through many evil and dark things in my life before and after that point, but I tell you, if you are in a dark place; find one or more people that can help you stand when you feel weak… one true friend is better than 10,000 fickle ones
I often thought why evil things happened to me. I was just a kind-hearted kid when I stared out and I never wanted to hurt anyone… but evil found me and I was hurt so much!
But that’s the point!
Life is a testing ground of our faith…
We choose how to react. No one else can make your choices for you.
My teen years are a blur to this day. My mind blocked out the worst memories of those days for me. For that I am thankful.
But it’s been a long time since then, and now I have a life of new promise. I am writing this book because I believe that people need some encouragement… and I can only hope that this book brings people hope.
I fell as far as one can, and now I am married to the woman of my dreams and have my own home and a have started a business that is an outreach to my community.
Why do bad things happen to good people….?
Because
“In the Light we are Purified, Through Fire we are made strong. And only through sacrifice can we achieve glory!”
We are made In God’s image and He does not make anything without a purpose!
You, dear reader, have a purpose in this life!
You were made by the Lord of Heaven and he does not make junk… He will never give you a challenge that you cannot overcome with His help. All you have to do is ask Him to help you and stand in his ways… Life is not and never will be easy. This is a testing ground, a battlefield full of monsters and demons. But you have the greatest power of all… the Holy Spirit and the love of Jesus Christ!
“Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me…”
Those words will forever be branded into my heart and mind.
No evil can stand against the Lord, for the Lord has already won the battle…
Satan knows that he has been defeated and his mission is to take as many of us down with him as possible… so don’t let him!
Do not listen to the lies of the enemy and instead stand for glory and justice!
Defend the weak and the helpless and fight darkness wherever you find it…
Why bad things happen to good people…
Because there is sin in this world and it is our enemy, a small tempting voice of the flesh and the eyes, the spirit of greed and darkness…
Who are you reader? Why are you in this world?
And what are you going to do with the time that you have…
Some people are called to be pastors, some people are called to be prayer warriors… and others, although most people do not want to let it happen, are called to be physical paladins ho fight evil in the flesh for the defense of the church and God’s people.
David was a small shepherd boy who wore no armor; he faced a giant who was mocking God’s name. He had faith and stood his ground. With a stone David defeated the giant and cut his head off with a sword…
Do not be afraid to stand up for what is right in this world… all that needs to happen for evil to win is for good people to stand by and do nothing!
So make the choice and do what is right!
We are all called to be warriors for God.
And it’s time we stopped letting evil forces take over…
So the question dear reader is this…
What will you do with the life God has given you and will you use it for good or for evil…
Know that God is always watching what we do, and he knows all secrets of the universe.
You cannot surprise God, you cannot fool him, and you can never overcome the evil in this world without his aid…
Stand, Sons and Daughters of Christ and become
Knights of the Church….
The enemy is all around us, but he is not God and his power has limits…
Do not fear the darkness when you have the light of the Holy Spirit. Be brave and defend the word of God.
