Ephesians 6:10-20
Bible Devotional Thoughts
Stand your ground. The enemy is throwing darts at you, hitting you, kicking you, trying to defeat you…
But stand. Be strong in the Lord. He is mighty.
He is everything.
Therefore it doesn’t matter that you are weak and nobody.
After all, why would Satan even bother with you if you didn’t matter?
All seems impossible, but get your battle gear on.
Put on your helmet, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace…
Put on the whole armor of God so you can stand on that evil day and fight against the powers of darkness.
In all circumstances, take up your shield of faith and extinguish the enemy’s darts!
Take the helmet of salvation and use the Sword of the Spirit.
Pray at all times and persevere and pray for the saints and pray that you may be bold to share the gospel boldly as you ought to speak.

Prayer
Lord, help us to put on your whole armor so we might stand and fight the enemy of our souls. Help us to proclaim your gospel with boldness.
